A one-of-a-kind piece handcrafted from a vintage silk kimono (Komon) from the Heisei period (1989-2019).

Based on Jimon (woven pattern), Katazome (Japanese stencil-dyeing) pattern of colorful wisteria, sakura, and other flowers floating in running water.
The drape creates a beautiful feminine silhouette, the texture is supple and smooth, the long sleeves, and hem with slits on both sides sway with your movements, creating a graceful impression.
Comes with a hand-woven silk belt.

This LIGHT KIMONO is an original design by Keiko Tagai.
With an emphasis on creating a new kimono style that allows various people to enjoy the Japanese kimono in their daily lives, these unique garments are carefully handcrafted by Japanese artisans, utilizing the individuality of each kimono and traditional kimono-making techniques as much as possible.
The entire process of untying the kimono, repairing and reinforcing the fabric, cutting, and sewing is done by hand.

Product Care
After use, hang the garment on a hanger and let it air dry for a day before storing it in a wardrobe with mothballs.
Dry clean or Hand wash.
To handwash, use a delicate laundry detergent (neutral detergent).
To avoid damaging the fabric, please avoid frequent washing.
When ironing, use an ironing cloth (such as a thin fabric) and iron from the underside of the garment fabric at a low temperature.
