Hat is made from a very rare kimono cloth manufactured around 1955 by the Kyoto Yuzen OKAJYU (岡重) maker. It is made in the manner of real woodblock print that are dyed over and over again. The pattern is "Bijinga". Bijinga means a beautiful women portrait.

Hat is handmade one by one by an artisan. All manufacturing processes are done by hand, from kimono cleaning to deconstruction to hat production.
※There is slight stain, but it is not defective product. We hope you can feel the old days and history of Japan.
