It is made from a single kimono (Komon/ Casual Wear).
The shape of the brim can be changed freely.
It can be hand-washed and is convenient to fold and carry. Taking advantage of the original texture of the kimono, it has a light and soft finish.
We make hats by dry cleaning kimonos, carefully untying the threads, pressing them with steam to make a single piece of fabric, then cutting and sewing each piece one by one while considering the layout (the way the pattern appears).
Handmade by Japanese artisan. Concept
The products are made from the same kimono, but the position and orientation of the pattern is slightly different for each finished product.
